Ever ride through the hood and see a junk yard? Of course you have. Ever seen a scrap metal yard? Of course you have. Ever see a crane or heavy machinery in a scrap metal yard moving the heavy pieces of metal around? Ever notice a scrap metal yard that might take up an entire block? Ever shop at one? Most likely you haven’t. Actually, do you remember this?!? And most likely you haven’t noticed that often times, there’s a luxury car nearby. That luxury car is driven by the owner of that scrap yard. That crane and heavy machinery is also owned by that owner. That land is also owned by that owner OR the owner is paying hefty rent for that land. And what does all of that mean? It means that the owner is doing very well for his or herself....

I think I’ve figured it out. Yup, I finally think that I have the answer. Well, maybe not the whole answer. Maybe just a partial, kinda sorta, piece of… Dahhh… Anyway, here’s what happened; I’m driving this morning and I’m the blue car in lane number 2 (see image below). Obviously lane 1 is for the cars that want to turn left, and lanes, 3 and 4 and so on are for cars that want to go straight. The car to the right of me (the red car in lane 3) is in the straight lane but wants to go left. They ask me if they can get over and I gladly let them get over, thinking that they would cross all the way over to lane 1 so that they can make their turn. I was hanging out with my God Daughter a few weeks ago. When I asked if she was hungry and what she wanted to eat, I’m sure you all can guess what she replied with… Yes… The good old golden arches. So we pull up to the McDonald’s drive thru window and when it slides open, the face looked familiar.
